Modern love
Belvile, May 1824

Most beloved friend of mine,

In response to your letter hitherto delivered, yes. I believe I am aware of it.

I am pleased you found a young honest doctor caring for his patients in the land of yours. His name has reached the shore in the recent days.

The young man has recently graduated with honors in Vet school. Take care of scheduling an appointment now, before his agenda levels those of all other doctors alike.

How’s all going in Krovach? I heard there’s a massive education strike. Is that so? It brings to memory the Strike of the Old Days. Have you ever been told about it?

Centuries ago, Belvile region and Krovach region were one and the same. As a matter of fact, it was all Krovach. Then, for some reason, schools and universities all went on strike. During many months, all sorts of negotiation, menace and strike were put on and off the table. Nothing solved it. Then someone suggested a novel fight. Firstly, a few university professors, shortly after a few more schoolteachers, they all began imparting truth. It all went crazily soon afterwards.

Those people were among the pilgrim who later on were expelled to the region which nowadays is known by the name of Belvile.

Be well my friend.

With all of my love.

E.K.
